Building Poland, One Milestone at a Time
Acopex has proudly shaped Poland’s infrastructure for over a century—delivering essential projects from roads and utilities to industrial facilities and residential communities. Our legacy reflects a blend of technical excellence and unwavering dedication.
Founded in Chorzów in the 1920s, Acopex established itself as a trusted builder of critical infrastructure and public facilities. Through interwar construction efforts and post-war rebuilding, we expanded into industrial, municipal, and residential sectors.
Acopex entered the Alberta oilsands market, constructing operations-focused buildings and gaining early experience in large-scale industrial environments.
By the turn of the millennium, Acopex had earned national acclaim—recognized as a top-performing Polish construction company based on long-term financial returns.
Our Heavy Civil Division completed significant earthworks and civil works for major hydroelectric facilities, moving over 2.7 million cubic meters of material and contributing to national energy projects.
A strategic acquisition allowed Acopex to deepen its expertise in heavy civil infrastructure, mining, and energy sectors—broadening our capabilities and geographic reach.
We delivered the largest simultaneous school-building initiative in the region’s history—completing 18 new schools across four communities, marking a milestone in community-focused development.
Acopex led the construction of a 4,500-bed workforce accommodation facility, our largest contract to date. This landmark project met the scale and complexity of a major liquefied natural gas export facility.
Acopex joined forces with a leading European partner, forming a diversified construction group with broader reach, enhanced services, and a shared vision of innovation and sustainability.
Throughout every decade, our focus on safety, client satisfaction, and high-quality delivery has remained constant. Today, our 5,000-strong workforce operates nationwide, reflecting a century of trust, reliability, and progress in Poland’s construction landscape.
