With a reservoir spanning over 20 square kilometers, the Otmuchów Dam also generates hydroelectric power. It originally featured two Kaplan turbines with a combined installed capacity of 4.8 MW. Each turbine operated at a water flow rate of 21.5 m³/s and a hydraulic head (height difference) of approximately 16 meters. This integration of renewable energy reflects Acopex’s early commitment to sustainable engineering and resilient infrastructure.
